Conditions of Waste Acceptance

Including the Sale of recycled Products and Aggregates
  • Entry is in accordance with the Environmental permit
  • Only waste permitted under the Environmental Permit may be deposited at the site
  • All carriers must have a valid Waste Carriers License, if not exempt
  • All loads should be accompanied by a Controlled Waste Transfer Note ‘Duty of Care’ which should be presented on disposal of waste
  • If the producer / carrier fail to supply a correct Controlled Waste Transfer Note, one will be generated on site to ensure compliance
  • It is the responsibility of the producer to correctly describe their waste, and provide the correct EWC code
  • We reserve the right to reject or downgrade any waste types should they appear incorrect after inspection; additional charges may apply
  • By signing overleaf you confirm that you have fulfilled your duty to apply the waste hierarchy as required by regulation 12 of the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011
  • Recycled and secondary aggregates are produced in accordance with the WRAP Quality protocol for the production of Aggregates from Inert Waste will remain the property of the ‘seller’ until paid for in full
  • Top soil from recovery and recycling operations complies to the Environment Agency’s Regulatory Position Statement 190 which allows the use of up to 1000 tonnes of manufactured top soil at any given site without the need for an Environmental Permit
  • Hazardous Waste should be booked in at least 20 hours in advance of tipping
  • All Hazardous Waste loads should be accompanied by a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note, or a signed Hazardous Waste Declaration to confirm items originate from a ‘separately collected domestic fraction’
  • If the producer / carrier fail to supply a correct Hazardous Waste Consignment Note paperwork, one will be generated on site to ensure compliance, for which additional charges may be applied
  • All site users must adhere to the ‘Site Rules’ which are displayed in the site office
  • The customer / producer shall be solely responsible for, and hold the Company fully indemnified against all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, proceedings, costs and expenses which may be bought against the Company as a result of any accident, incident or damage not reported to the company before exiting the site, other than death or personal injury resulting from negligence of the company or its employees or agents
  • Damage caused to site machinery or infrastructure shall be recharges at the managements discretion
  • All rates are plus VAT at standard rate. Landfill Tax and Aggregate Levy are not recoverable as input tax
  • Payment by cash, credit / debit card, or approved credit account
