*Please note to use this inert tip you may be required to provide an appropriate form of proof that ensures the material can be accepted. Examples of paperwork we accept include soil test reports, WAC results and WIF forms.

Inert wastes we can accept
Southwood Inert Tip is licensed to accept clean inert spoils and some mixed inert spoils. Accepted waste streams are:
- Sub soil
Clean materials including clay, sub soil and chalk can be placed directly onto the landfill site, where as mixed inert materials containing concrete, hardcore or rubble are required to be tipped in a separate location so it can screened and then added to landfill.

For those without appropriate transport
If you are a site or contractor without the appropriate means of transporting the waste to our Southwood tip, we can help you.
Through our network, Commercial Recycling can arrange tipper trucks or grab lorries that will visit your site to collect your inert waste. 6 & 8 wheeler tipper trucks are available depending on the amount of waste.
We can also arrange for skips to be provided. Skips available are 4, 6 or 8yd and once filled will be collected from your site. If you require a larger container, 15, 20 & 25 Rollonoff (RoRo) containers are also available for use.
