Asbestos waste collection in & around Poole and Bournemouth
Asbestos waste items, such as contaminated roofs, floor tiles and cement, are classed as hazardous waste and cannot be disposed of amongst other waste materials. As such particular care needs to be taken when collecting, transporting and disposing of these materials.
At Commercial Recycling, our staff are trained, insured and certified to collect, transport and handle hazardous waste including asbestos.
The collections we provide to Individuals, businesses and tradesman are offered on a ‘one-off’ basis or as part of a scheduled waste management service, which benefits from the provision of the appropriate waste container. For more information on the range of waste containers we use in hazardous waste collections, please see our ‘How can we collect your asbestos waste?

How can we collect your waste asbestos?
The affordable asbestos waste collection services our fully trained operatives carry out daily are completed using Commercial Recycling’s own specialist waste containers and vehicles.
The most common waste collections solutions we offer are:
- 3.5tonne tail lift – ideal for the collection of smaller loads of waste that are appropriately sealed and secured. For example, asbestos waste must be double wrapped or bagged
- Skip and roro (rollonoff) containers – great for storing and transporting large loads of hazardous waste. Enclosed and lockable containers are also available if required. Take a look at our range of skip sizes here >
- Our grab lorries are a suitable method for loads of hazardous waste up to 16 tonnes. If the waste is asbestos, to allow it to be ‘grabbed’ it would need to be double bagged and placed in a durable bulk bag, such as an Easy bag.
Containers we are also able to provide for storing, transporting and disposing of other forms of hazardous waste include; fluorescent tube coffins, 50l drums, 205l drums and IBC 1000l containers.
