On 27th October leading Dorset based recycling and waste management organisation Commercial Recycling were awarded Safecontractor accreditation.
The award was given to Commercial Recycling following an extensive review of the firm’s health & safety documentation against the charter operated by Safecontractor.
Commercial Recycling have achieved certified Safecontractor status for the following services:
- Waste Collection – General Waste
- Waste Collection – Recycling
- Recycling and Waste Management Services
- Skip Hire
- Tipping Facilities
It is hoped that by becoming an approved Safecontractor business the operations team at Commercial Recycling will be able to maintain and improve the excellent health and safety record the company already has.
Calvin Pope, Health Safety Manager commented “We are delighted to have our health and safety practices recognised by the Safecontractor scheme. The accreditation demonstrates the importance that Commercial Recycling places on creating and maintaining safe working environments for its staff and visitors to its sites.”
Achievement of Safecontractor status also allows Commercial Recycling to be eligible for acceptance into the procurement process of a number of larger organisations.
