Legislation governing asbestos disposal
The 2012 control of asbestos regulations states that asbestos waste containing more than 0.1% asbestos is classified as hazardous. Due to the risk of lung cancer and other diseases caused by asbestos fibres, any building materials and equipment that have been exposed to asbestos and cannot be decontaminated are also perceived as asbestos waste.
Common forms of asbestos we accept:
- Asbestos ceilings
- Asbestos roofs
- Asbestos floor tiles
- Asbestos cement
